Ready Set Plumb is a licensed, fully in-house plumbing team providing water filter installation across Sydney. We install under-sink, whole-house, and reverse osmosis systems for homes and businesses, connecting your filter to the mains properly and to code, with no leaks and no surprises.

Get better tasting water
Sick of chlorine taste, cloudy water, or buying bottled?
Sydney’s tap water is treated to be safe, but “safe” and “pleasant” aren’t the same thing. If your water tastes like a swimming pool, leaves chalky residue on the kettle, or you’ve quietly started buying bottled water for the family, a filter fixes the cause rather than the symptom. You might be dealing with:
You shouldn’t have to become a plumbing expert to drink clean water. That’s our job.

Save the DIY for something else
Why a water filter install is a licensed plumber’s job
Here’s the bit the filter retailers don’t tell you: anything that connects to your mains water supply is plumbing work, and in NSW that means it needs a licensed plumber. A water filter teed into your cold-water line, a whole-house unit at your point of entry, or a reverse osmosis system with a drain connection all involve pressurised mains, potential backflow risk, and connections that have to be watertight and compliant.
Get it wrong and you’re looking at a slow leak inside a cabinet, water damage, voided product warranties, or, worst case, a cross-connection that compromises your drinking water. Get it right and you forget it’s even there. When Ready Set Plumb installs your filter, you get:
Ready for clean drinking water?
Here’s exactly what happens when you call
You don’t want a sales pitch, you want clean water on tap. No call-out fee to come and look, and a fixed price before any work starts.
Anything connected to your mains carries risk, and you’re trusting someone in your kitchen. Two things protect you. Our Lifetime Labour Guarantee means if an install we’ve carried out ever leaks or fails, we come back and put it right at no cost to you. We also carry $20 million in public liability insurance, so if anything’s damaged on the job, you’re covered. And we talk you through exactly which system suits your home, the cartridge, the fittings, the filtered tap, before we connect a thing, so you’re never upsold something you haven’t seen and approved.

You call, we answer
Tell us what you’re after, a filter you’ve already bought, a chlorine taste you want gone, or you’re not sure which system suits your home. There’s no call-out fee to come and look.
$0 call-out fee and we give you an arrival time
A specific 2 to 3 hour timeslot. Our team works across Sydney daily, so we’re rarely far away.
We match the right system to your home
We check your mains, your cabinet space and your water, then recommend what actually suits you, under-sink, whole-house or reverse osmosis. If a simple under-sink filter does the job, that’s what we’ll say. No upselling, and no biggest-system-on-the-shelf.
You get a fixed price upfront
We quote the install before any work starts, whether we’re supplying the system or fitting one you’ve bought. If you’re happy with the price, you approve it, and we get going. The number on the quote is the number you pay.
We install it, test it and back our work
Your filter runs clean with no leaks, we fit proper isolation valves so future cartridge changes take minutes, and the kitchen’s left tidy. We show you how to swap the cartridge, and the workmanship’s covered by the Ready Set Plumb Lifetime Labour Guarantee.
In Writing, Every Time
Our Ready Set Plumb Guarantees
The number on your quote is the number you pay. Every job comes with three things in writing, so you’re never relying on a verbal promise.

Lifetime Labour Guarantee
If our workmanship fails, we come back and fix it, for as long as you own the home.
Turn Up On-time Guarantee
We’ll give you a 2 to 3 hour timeslot so you can plan your day as needed and we’ll keep you updated.

Our Minimum Standards
No boot prints, no mess, no exceptions
Clean uniforms. Clean boots. Drop sheets down before we start. Tools, packaging, and offcuts out with us when we leave. If we need to open a wall or ceiling, we’ll tell you first and leave the area tidy.
You won’t find boot prints on your tiles or copper shavings in your bath. That’s not a bonus we charge for. It’s the minimum standard.
